Thank you for your interest in volunteering with CEF Santa Barbara! We are always looking for new volunteers to help us share Christ’s love and the Gospel message with children. If you decide to volunteer with us, you can be assured that you will receive training, support, fellowship and prayer!
CEF offers both short-term and long-term volunteer opportunities. Additionally, we are approved to offer community service hours for high school students!

Good News Clubs – 2026-2027 School Year
- Good News Club Volunteer – Teachers and club helpers needed – one afternoon (after school) per week for 1.5 hours plus a little prep time
- Party Club Volunteer – Volunteer opportunities such as teaching, games, snacks, stories and crafts for a special party club! Scheduled as needed
- Special Events Volunteer – Varied roles, seasonal (ie, Holiday Parade, Fall Festival Booths, etc.)
Summer 5-Day Clubs, 2027
We are in need of both adult and teen volunteers to share God’s love with local children in our Santa Barbara and Lompoc morning LEGO 5-Day Clubs! We are in need of:
- Teachers – Teach the Bible Lesson, Memory Verse, or Missionary Story
- Specialists – Do you love teaching outdoor skills, LEGOs or Soccer? Come share your skills at our morning 5-Day clubs!
- Counselors – Lead, help and pray with small groups of children throughout the morning
- Worship Leaders – Play guitar (or other instruments), sing, or worship with puppets!
- Tech – Run the audio/visual equipment (sound system, computer and projector)
- Check-in – Check in children and listen to Bible memory verses each morning when club begins
- Snacks – Set up and serve simple snacks to children during their 5-Day Club
