Would you be willing to host a neighborhood 5-Day Club?
- Do you love God and love children?
- Do you live in a neighborhood or can partner with a friend in a neighborhood of unchurched and perhaps at-risk children?
- Would you or your friend be willing to open up your home or yard for those children for only 2 hours in the month of June or July?
Our trained missionaries would run a gospel-oriented party club of games, songs, and Bible lessons. All you would need to do is invite the children (and provide a snack if you wish). We are open to the time and day of the week.
What is a 5-Day Club?
5-Day Club® is a dynamic fun-filled, free Summer morning club that is held for five consecutive days for between 1.5 and 3 hours per day. It includes engaging Bible lessons, creative learning activities, inspiring missionary stories, songs, games, and more!
Who can attend?
All children in elementary school who have completed Kindergarten up to 6th grade are welcome regardless of religious affiliation. Each child must have a parent or legal guardian register them on the camp website.
Who sponsors the club?
5-Day Club is sponsored by CEF®, which has been in existence for over 85 years. CEF currently ministers over 160 countries, teaching biblical principles to more than ten million children each year.
Many times local churches co-sponsor the club as an effective outreach.
Who teaches the club?
Christians who are concerned for the spiritual well-being of your child teach the club. These teachers have received specialized training from CEF and are carefully screened as required by the child protection policy of CEF. We also have awesome volunteer opportunities for teens! If you know a teen who would like to learn more, have them click on the “Volunteer” button of the club they are interested in!
Is there any cost?
There is no charge for your child to attend. However, there are opportunities to make an optional donation if it is possible for the families participating.
How will the club benefit my child?
Your child will learn biblical principles, moral values, character qualities, and will have fun!
Will my child be safe?
CEF has taken specific steps to ensure the safety of your child. All club workers have been carefully screened as required by the child protection policy of CEF and the state of California. We also follow all Santa Barbara County health guidelines.
