PRAYER REQUESTS
Good News Clubs and Outreaches
- Lord, please send us new volunteers so we can open more Good News Clubs and share the Gospel with children from all over our communities!
- Pray for our GNC volunteers as they teach. Anoint them with your Holy Spirit and fill them with creativity when presenting the Bible and memory verse lessons. We pray that God will protect them from sickness and will give them good health in the New Year.
- Lord, please provide indoor spaces for all clubs currently meeting outside so that clubs don’t have to be cancelled on rainy dys.
- Please pray for Roosevelt School Principal Mrs. Galindo and SBUSD Superintendent Mrs. Maldonado as we request the Good News Club back on campus. Lord we ask that you would move their hearts and they will have compassion for the children and their families.
- Please pray for Goleta Unified School District Superintendent, Diana Rigby, and the principals at the following schools: Foothill, Hollister and Ellwood. Please move their hearts to allow the Good News Club back on campus again.
- Lord, we pray that the Santa Ynez club would move from Mondays at 2pm to Mondays at 1pm when the children actually get out of school. We pray for new children to attend the club as a result.
- Lord, we praise you for the awesome volunteers and kids in the Foothill Club. Thank you that five children accepted or re-dedicated their lives to Christ over the past month, and that new kids are enrolling in the club! Thank you Lord for the new boy in club who just gave his life to Christ!
- Lord, we pray that the Vieja Valley GNC kids would focus on You and that this club would shine Your light to all the families and staff there.
- Lord, we praise you that a club announcement went out on Canalino School’s e-blast, and that more kids are attending club. Huge praise that Ray from Angi’s church would like to volunteer for a Carpinteria Good News Club. We are full of praise for our librarian Miss Julie, in whose room we meet. She is a believer & very supportive. Pray that Carpinteria can open another club – hopefully at Aliso School!
- Lord, we pray for the children of Lompoc, and that more clubs would open up there. Huge praise for the two clubs happening right now, and for the very enthusiastic volunteers!
- We pray that many more children would attend the Brandon club. May all the parents who found GNC flyers in their children’s backpacks consider sending their kids to club.
- Lord, thank you for the many kids at the Hope School club. Please continue to help the 5th and 6th grade boys to focus on you and your teachings. May they come to know you as their savior.
- Pray for the Westmont College students that expressed interest in volunteering at a Good News Club. Sharon will be contacting them. Pray that their school schedules will work out so they can volunteer, and that they will be filled with excitement!
- Pray for CEF’s spring luncheon and all the details that surround planning it.
- We pray for the flood damage repair at Calvary Chapel – Big praise for all the volunteers and supplies You have provided.
- Pray for Sharon Jegottka as she manages her time wisely as CEF Ministry Coordinator, mother and wife. Lord, help her and multiply her time.
- Continued prayer for GNC volunteer Tammy Lashlee who is on maintenance chemo. Pray she would continue to tolerate the treatment and be back to full health by next summer! Jesus we ask you to lay your healing hands on her and restore her to good health. Deliver her from leukemia!
- Prayer for volunteer Belinda Razo who has leukemia. God give her strength and rest as she continues with her treatment. We ask you Lord to heal her!
