Good News Clubs
- As we enter mid-summer, we pray that our Good News Club children would draw close to you and desire to grow in their relationship with you during the summer.
- Lord, we continue to pray for the SB Unified School District superintendent and other staff. Soften their hearts so by August 15 when we apply for facilities, we can have more clubs in the Santa Barbara schools and that we can advertise to bring in more kids without a fight.
- We praise you Lord for the Washington School club. We pray that all the newly-saved children would read the Bible throughout the summer and hold You close in their hearts, that they would find churches to attend, and that you would bring their families to You.
- Lord, we continue to pray for Your will for the location of the Hope Club, and that you would soften the hearts of the Hope School District administrators so that they can support our club at Hope School.
- Lord, we pray for the mother of a student in the Cleveland Club whose mother needs to be re-united with her family.
- We pray for a child at the Foothill Club who fell out of a tree on 4th of July and fractured his skull. Praise for the huge miracle that his brain is OK!! We pray he would pay more attention in Good News Club after this.
- Lord, we continue to pray for the children at the Brandon club – that many more will attend in the Fall and that we would find favor with the new school principal.
- We pray for a child at Canalino club. He is still without glasses and still may have emotional needs. Pray he would get spiritual help as he will be moving to another school.
5-Day Club
- Lord, we thank you for a highly successful Santa Barbara LEGO club. Thank you for the children who were able to attend and hear Your word poured into their lives.
- We praise you for the seven children who entrusted their lives to you at this club. We pray you would help them understand the commitment they have made and that they would grow in faith.
- Thank you for the two young missionaries, Diego and Chloe, who did a great job of leading SB LEGO club and did a wonderful job in relating to the children.
- Lord, we continue to pray for the children who need to come into a relationship with You. We also pray for those who signed up for camp but never attended.
- Lord, we pray for the Lompoc LEGO club, which will be starting July 14-18. We praise you for registrations of more than 61 children so far!
- We pray that you would give Ana and her helpers the strength and good health to run this club well. Give them clear spiritual vision as they prepare and run this club in Lompoc.
- We pray that all the volunteers’ paperwork would be completed before club starts so they can all volunteer.
- Lord, send the kids that you would have come to this LEGO club. Thank you that many of them are unchurched and are from many different schools in Lompoc, and they will be able to hear the Gospel, maybe some for the first time.
- We pray that many families would want Good News Clubs at the schools these kids attend.
*** CEF runs a special time of prayer for our ministries every Tuesday morning from 6:30-7:15am on Zoom. You are invited to participate by e-mailing Marina King for the Zoom link. Thank you, and we hope to see you there!
