Rosario got saved as an adult—though forced to go to church and catechism as a child so that everything was by rote and not reality. “I think it’s so important for children to get close to God and that it’s in their heart and by their choice. That’s what CEF is about.”
Rosario is involved in her community on many levels for the welfare of children. She connects with parents through her business, church, or her son’s school, and empowers parents to equip their children with the tools they need to be successful. “If we help the children when they are little, we will have a healthier world in the future. By ‘health’ I don’t just mean physical, but mental, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual as well. Children need academics but also values. And when children learn to trust God, they will hold on through life no matter what happens.”
Rosario’s community involvements include:

Justin Etherton is the owner and founder of Etherton Real Estate Group. He loves helping his community and being involved in the community both through his company and personally. Some of these examples are sponsoring kids to go to summer camp, annual canned food drives, volunteering at church and with the youth. He graduated from Westmont College in 2009 with degree in Business and Economics, played soccer and was a captain of the soccer team and help lead his team to the first national tournament in a decade. Justin met his wife Erin while attending Westmont College and has been married since 2010.
After college he started his career in Real Estate in 2011 and God has blessed his business to grow into a team and provide for his family. He wouldn’t be where he is today without the Lord, his wife and his family. Justin has 2 boys that are the joy of his life and he loves coaching their sports teams and spending time with his family. He also, enjoys being outdoors, active and sports. Recently, Justin has enjoyed bike riding both century road bikes and mountain biking.
My vision for CEF here in SB is to see it flourish and grow from where it is today. I believe the staff and past board members have done an amazing job getting CEF to be recognized in the community and it will be my goal to continue and expand on that legacy. I would like to see a revival in Santa Barbara County and that can start by bring God back into schools through our children.

I am excited to have recently joined the local Santa Barbara CEF board of directors. Our board strives to support our local children in their knowledge and love for our Lord Jesus Christ thru supporting Good News Clubs, Summer 5-Day Clubs, and Junior Youth Challenge groups. As board members we work to offer financial & emotional support to insure that these activities continue insuring so that His Word can be taught thru fun engaging activities in after-school and summer programs. Some of our activities include fund-raising, building awareness for our programs and cultivating symbiotic relationships with others in the local faith community. It is rewarding to hear about the number of children who are attending our programs and growing in their faith.
