Good News Clubs
- Foothill – We pray for Foothill Club – that God continues to guide and motivate the team as they teach Your word.
- Hollister – Lord, we pray for the Hollister Club – We pray for focus from the kids as the leaders teach them how to look up their memory verses in their Bibles. We pray the kids bring their Bible every week and memorize their verses. This will be Bonnie’s last week at GNC for this school year – she is going on a 45th anniversary trip. Lord, bless Bonnie on her trip, and help the other leaders as they finish out the school year.
- Brandon – Lord, we continue to pray for one little girl to be less disruptive in club and that she would take our lessons to heart – and that she will ask the Holy Spirit to help her. Thank you Thank you Lord that Theresa was able to help at this club on Thursday.
- Cleveland – Thank you Lord for 100% attendance this week at club! We continue to pray for a new director and new volunteers as 2 of them returned to Oregon for six months. We also pray for great opportunities for Lisa to minister to her father while he is here visiting from Nicaragua.
- Washington – We praise you for the children in the Washington GNC – answer to prayer!! Many 6th graders are going on to Jr. High and they need to take His word with them and have wisdom and prayer. Lord, we lift up Leiah, who is concerned about next year’s college schedule and the possibility she may not be able to direct the club. Please work it out so she can continue with GNC.
- Roosevelt – Lord, we continue to pray for more children to attend the Roosevelt club before the end of the school year. We pray for better relations between the volunteers and the school administration. Please soften their hearts as we apply for club for the next school year.
- Adams – Lord, we pray for the Adams Club children (and all children) – for safety, protection, and good health. We pray they feel Your love even with so many hard things going on in their lives.
- Vieja Valley – Lord, help us to learn how to redirect children to the Bible when they say things that are not accurate.
- Hope – Thank you for the dedicated leaders and the many kids who attend this club. Please help the kids focus as they finish the school year.
- La Honda – Lord, we praise you for the dedication of the La Honda leaders. Lord, we pray that the Holy Spirit would show the volunteers the right thing to say at their presentation at Crossroads Community Church on May 17. Thank you Lord that Ana was able to speak to Pastor Sean at Place of Grace Church and we pray they can present CEF there on May 31.
- Canalino – Lord, we thank you for the Canalino Club. We pray for a good finish to the year. We pray for the graduates who are going to middle school – that they will take the Lord with them and that the club will finish well.
- Aliso – Lord, we pray for the children in the Aliso Club. We especially pray for the behavior of some of the children to improve. We praise you for three volunteers this week.
Solvang – We pray the children will be able to plant seeds for the Lord in the lives of friends and family, and God will soften their heart that Jesus is the only way.
Other CEF prayers:

- Lord, we praise you that the Spring Banquet was a success and that everyone loved the worship, food, and especially our outstanding guest speaker, Bill Federer.
- Lord, help Sharon as she reaches out to pastors – Give them the desire to partner with CEF.
- Lord, give teens the desire to attend CYIA – Christian Youth In Action camp June 20-26 so they can lead our summer 5-Day Clubs in parks and churches over the summer. Help Sharon and Lisa as they reach out to teens.
