What is a 5-Day Club?
5-Day Club® is a dynamic fun-filled, free Summer club that is held for five consecutive days for 1.5 hours per day. It includes engaging Bible lessons, creative learning activities, inspiring missionary stories, songs, games, and more!
Who can attend?
All children in elementary school from K to 6th grade are welcome regardless of religious affiliation. Each child must have a parent or legal guardian register them on the 5-Day Club website. Our goal is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with as many children in our community as possible. Therefore, we are asking that children who know the Lord please invite their unchurched friends and neighbors to attend our 5-Day Clubs so they too can experience the love of our Lord.
Who sponsors the club?
5-Day Club is sponsored by CEF®, which has been in existence for over 85 years. CEF currently ministers over 160 countries, teaching biblical principles to more than ten million children each year.
Many times local churches co-sponsor the club as an effective outreach.
Who teaches the club?
Christian who are concerned for the spiritual well-being of your child teach the club. These teachers have received specialized training from CEF and are carefully screened as required by the child protection policy of CEF. We also have awesome volunteer opportunities for teens through our Christian Youth In Action residential training program! If you know a teen who would like to learn more about this one-week training and helping to run our 5-Day Clubs, please click here.
Is there any cost?
There is no charge for your child to attend. However, there are opportunities to make an optional donation if it is possible for the families participating.
How will the club benefit my child?
Your child will learn biblical principles, moral values, character qualities, and will have fun!
Will my child be safe?
CEF has taken specific steps to ensure the safety of your child. All club workers have been carefully screened as required by the child protection policy of CEF and the state of California. We also follow all Santa Barbara County health guidelines.
